A little about Acorn

One promise grew into a long-term commitment.

During a visit to rural Kenya in 2007, Dr. Tim Richardson saw strong communities and joyful children living with very limited access to essential services. The experience left a lasting impression and a commitment to return with practical support.

That commitment became Acorn Kids International Charities: a way to pair resources with community-led ideas, beginning with education and expanding toward the conditions that help families build secure, healthy futures.
